Olive trees have been used as a cultivated plant in the Mediterranean region since ancient times. The Greek Koroneiki olive and the Spanish Arbequina olive are considered the best the olive oil world has to offer. At the foot of the Pyrenees, in the Catalan region of Lleida, the spatial separation of these two specialties disappears: this is where our own olive oil EVOO comes from.
The oils from the first few weeks are characterized by a fruity, strong character: like EVOO with the fruity, fresh and sweet notes of Arbequina and the slightly grassy and finely peppery notes of Koroneiki Olive.
The harvested olives are first separated from branches, leaves and stones and then driven to the mill and processed on the same day. They are ground below 30°C - everything for a particularly powerful and rich taste.
Selected, exquisite and special, EVOO is our home oil for everyday cooking, the all-rounder in the kitchen and liquid gold for your favorite dishes. Enjoy it in salad dressing, to refine various sauces and marinades or to mix our blends with bread.
